Elizabeth Ryan, Betty's mother, was also in the home Their children, Peter and Elizabeth D. (Betty) were listed as living with them. As an item of interest, a dollar in 1940 would equal $21.35 in the year 2022. A $3.50 gallon of milk in 2022 would have cost $.17 cents in 1940.6
