She was enroute to her father, at Boston, Massachusetts.

     Ruth married Eric Hultin on 27 July 1907, at Cuyahoga, Ohio.⁵

     Ruth died on 29 June 1950, at Kern, California, at age 64,⁶ and was buried at Greenlawn Cemetery and Mortuary, Bakersfield, Kern, California.⁶

     Sven Lennart Svensson was born on 26 November 1923 at Söderala, Gävleborg, Sverige.²

     Sven married Ingrid Maria Birgitta Norman, daughter of Axel Andreas Norman and Hilda Kristina Gräs, on 28 September 1946, at Söderala, Gävleborg, Sverige.¹

     Sven Martin Svensson, son of Olof Lennart Svensson and Sofia Henriksdotter, was born on 17 March 1903 at Grossbol, Grava, Värmland, Sverige.¹

     Andrew married Emma Christina Johnson, daughter of Jan Henrik Jonsson and Johanna Larsdotter, on 4 November 1899, at Chicago, Cook, Illinois.²

     Andrew died on 29 April 1927, at Chicago, Cook, Illinois, at age 54.³

     Delmar Andrew Swanson, son of Andrew Swanson and Emma Christina Johnson, was born on 6 September 1913 at Chicago, Cook, Illinois.¹

     Delmar emigrated on 17 August 1922, from Göteborg, Sverige.³ According to a passenger list, Delmar Andrew Swanson was listed as a relative traveling with his mother, Emma on 17 August 1922, departing Göteborg, Sverige; They arrived at the Port of New York 28 Aug 1922. Their final destination was listed as 3142 Osgood Street, Chicago, Illinois.^4,5

     The U.S. officially entered World War II on 8 December 1941 following an attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Just about a year before that, in October 1940, President Roosevelt had signed into law the first peacetime selective service draft in U.S. history, due to rising world conflicts. After the U.S. entered WWII a new selective service act required that all men between ages 18 and 65 register for the draft. Between November 1940 and October 1946, over 10 million American men were registered. The Fourth Registration, often referred to as the "old man's registration", was conducted on 27 April 1942 and registered men who born on or between 28 April 1877 and 16 February 1897 - men who were between 45 and 64 years old - and who were not already in the military. Delmar filled out a draft card for World War II on 16 October 1940 (at age 27), while living at 449 West Webster Ave., Chicago, Cook, Illinois. He was working for Augustana Hospital, Chicago. He had blue eyes, and brown hair.⁶

     Delmar married Marie Viola Gåsell, daughter of Joseph Gosell and Elin Maria Berggren, on 1 May 1945, at Cook, Illinois.⁷

     Delmar died in February 1976, at Chicago, Cook, Illinois, at age 62.¹
