     Edwin died at age 74, on 6 March 1913,2 and was buried at Marion Cemetery, Marion, Washington, Maine.2

     Ella Bridges, daughter of Edwin Preates Bridges and Sarah J. Fenderson, was born on 21 January 1886 at Marion, Washington, Maine.1

     Ella, at age 24, daughter of Edwin Preates Bridges and Sarah J. Fenderson, married Alvra H. Foss at age 39 on 31 December 1910 at Maine.2

     Ella died at age 74, on 5 April 1960, at Portland, Cumberland, Maine,3 and was buried at Court Street Cemetery, Machias, Washington, Maine.3

ELLA B FOSS

MACHIAS April 6 - Mrs Ella B. Foss, 74, widow of the late Alvra Foss, died Tuesday evening in Portland following a long illness. Mrs. Foss was born in Marion, January 21, 1886, the daughter of Edwin P. and Sarah (Sanderson) Bridges and had lived there until the time of her marriage. She was a resident of Machias until 1948 when she went ta Portland to reside with her niece, Mrs. Cecil A Rowe. She was a member of the Machias Methodist Church. Surviving are her brother, Oscar Bridges of Portland; her niece, Mrs. Rowe; and two nephews, Donald W. Small Sr. of East Machias and Harold E. Small of Machias. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 30 o’clock in the Gardner chapel in Machias with the Rev. Royce N. Coan offidating. Interment will be in the Court Street cemetery, Machias.5
