     Draxy Ricker Buzzell, daughter of James Buzzell and Betsey Hanson, was born on 18 June 1823.1

     Draxy, at age 17, daughter of James Buzzell and Betsey Hanson, married Charles Woodworth Small at age 21, son of Stephen Small and Ruth Woodworth, on 6 November 1840 at Wellington, Piscataquis, Maine, married by James Buzzell, Esq. Draxy and Charles also crossed Buzzell Brook and built a home on the land adjoining 'Dog Island.' Just north of their home is the cemetery where many of the Buzzells and Bussells are buried. It is now called the Ralph Huff Cemetery.1

     Draxy died on 22 February 1878 at Wellington, Piscataquis, Maine, at age 54.1
