     Myra J. Coy, daughter of Charles Coy and Almira L. Bean, was born circa 1862 at Charleston, Penobscot, Maine.1

     Myra, daughter of Charles Coy and Almira L. Bean, married Addison W. Parsons at age 37, son of Isaac M. Parsons and Prudence Lavania Stedman, on 9 December 1893 at Dexter, Penobscot, Maine, by A. G. Hill, Clergyman.1

     Myra died on 17 March 19352 and was buried at Dover Cemetery, Dover Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine.2

     Myra and Addison appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of North Reading, Middlesex, Massachusetts, enumerated 9 June 1900. Addison was working as a farm laborer.. Their son, Bernard was listed as living with them.3

     Myra and Addison appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Bellingham, Whatcom, Washington, enumerated 18 April 1910. Addison was working as a school janitor. Their children, Bernard were listed as living with them..4

     Myra appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 6 January 1920. Myra was a widow, workig as a servant doing housework for a private family. Her adopted son, Bernard was listed as living with her.5

     Henry S. Coyne was born on 1 December 1919 at Brewer, Penobscot, Maine.2

-Mr. and Mrs. Richard D. Emery of Dedham announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Edith Irene Emery to Henry Coyne of Bangor. The wedding will take place in September. Miss Emery was graduated from Bangor high school and is employed by the Industrial Feeding Service in Brewer. Mr. Coyne, son of Patrick Coyne and the late Mrs. Louise Coyne of 46 Fruit street, Bangor, served overseas during the war. He has received his honorable discharge and is now employed by the Eastern Corp in Brewer.1


     Henry died at age 80, on 4 November 2000, at Bangor, Penobscot, Maine.3

HENRY S. COYNE

BREWER - Henry S. Coyne, 80, husband of the late Edith I. (Emery) Coyne, died Nov. 4, 2000, at a Bangor health-care center. He was bom Dec. 1, 1919, in Brewer, the son of Patrick H. and Louise (Slager) Coyne. Henry was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Europe with the Headquarters and Headquarters Comp., 112th Infantry at the Battle of the Bulge. He was employed for 21 years with the Eastern Corporation,' Brewer, and was employed for more than 30 years at the Bangor School Department, working as head custodian of the Garland Street Middle School and later in the lunch program. Henry was also a longtime communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Brewer. Surviving are four children, Ronald Coyne of Scottsdale, Ariz., Alta Clapper and her husband, Charles of Orland, Susan Hart and her husband, Robert of Bangor, and Mary Kay Graves and her husband, Michael of Orrington; four grandchildren, Colleen Christiansen and her husband, Collin of Castine, Susan Clapper of Orland, Valerie Hart of Bangor and Brittanny Graves of Orrington; one sister, Marie Arsenault and her husband, Norman of Bangor; three sisters-in-law. Myrtle Lawrence of Bangor, Mildred Perry of Ypsilanti, Mich, and Flora Emery-Heise of Indianapolis, Ind; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years on Sept. 22, 1998. Henry will be especially missed by his cat, Nomar. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Monday at Kiley Funeral Home, 69 State St., Brewer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Brewer, with the Rev. Joel Cyr, pastor, celebrant. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer.3
