     Betsey, at age 24, daughter of Zachariah Gurney Jr. and Matilda Packard, married Barnabas Edson on 1 January 1815 at Bridgewater, Plymouth, Massachusetts.3,4

     Betsey died at age 82, on 15 August 1873,5 and was buried at Leach Cemetery, Brockton, Plymouth, Maine.5
