     Alonzo Lovejoy, son of Odell Lovejoy and Rosilla P. Pillsbury, was born circa 8 April 1849 at Kenduskaeg, Penobscot, Maine.1,3

     Alonzo died on 6 September 1909, at Garland, Penobscot, Maine, His cause of death was listed as mitral insufficiency. (abbreviation MI best avoided because it is more commonly used in lieu of myocardial infarction), or mitral incompetence, is a form of valvular heart disease in which the mitral valve does not close properly when the heart pumps out blood.3 and was buried at Burnham Cemetery, Garland, Penobscot, Maine.4
