     Clara Greenlief Page was born in 1827 at Maine.1

     Clara and Loriston Hale Lovejoy filed a marriage intention on 16 December 1848 at Charleston, Penobscot, Maine.3,4,5

     Clara, married Loriston Hale Lovejoy, son of Jacob Lovejoy and Sarah Sally Townsend, on 5 January 1849.2

     Clara Greenlief Page died in 19136 and was buried at Rocklin Cemetery, Rocklin, Placer, California.6

     Clara Greenlief Page, her husband, Loriston, and their two children appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Charleston, Penobscot, Maine, in the household of her brother in law Abial Lovejoy and his wife, Harriet Watson Warren.8

     Clara and Loriston appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Greenwood, El Dorado, California, enumerated 10 June 1870. Loriston was a farmer, his real estate valued at $4000.00 and personal property at $2000.00. Their children, Thatcher Townsend, Amanda B., Fred Swinson and Stephen Frank were listed as living with them.9

     Clara and Loriston appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Greenwood, El Dorado, California, enumerated 15 June 1880. He was working as a farmer. There were nine additional people listed. Four farm workers, two stagecoach drivers, one stable worker, one blacksmith and one cook. Their children, Fred Swinson, Stephen Frank and Maude were listed as living with them.10

     Clara and Loriston appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Greenwood, El Dorado, California, enumerated, 23 June 1900. He was a farmer. They also have a Andrew Martin, working as a laborer.. Their children, Maude and Stephen Frank were listed as living with them.11

     Clara Greenlief Page appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Greenwood, El Dorado, California in the household of her son, Stephen and his wife, Mary.12
