Eleanor Rollins, 2nd. wife of Jeremiah Cross
     Eleanor Rollins, daughter of George Rollins and Phebe Brown, was born circa 1827 at Maine.1

     Eleanor and Jeremiah Cross filed a marriage intention on 22 October 1855.2,3

     Eleanor, daughter of George Rollins and Phebe Brown, married Jeremiah Cross, son of Moses Cross and Sarah Sands, on 27 October 1855 at Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, by RRobert Richards, Minister of the Gospel.4,5

     Eleanor Rollins died on 30 August 1901 at Piscataquis, Maine,6 and was buried at Sebec Corner Cemetery, Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine.7

     Eleanor and Jeremiah appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 9 June 1860. He listed his occupation as a farmer with the real estate value of $500.00 and personal property of $200.00. Their children, Moses S. and Fred A. and his children John Currier and Ella Etta were listed as living with them.9

     Eleanor and Jeremiah appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 6 July 1870. He was a farmer with a real estate value of $700.00, and personal property valued at $300.00 Their children, Moses S., Fred A., Sarah J. and Mary Emma were listed as living with them.10

     Eleanor and Jeremiah appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 4 June 1880. Jeremiah listed his occupation as a farmer Their children, Moses S., Fred A., Sarah J. and Mary Emma were listed as living with them.11

     Eleanor Rollins appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine in the household of her son, Fred. She was listed as a widow. The census indicated she had six children with three still living.12
