George Rollins, husband of Phebe Brown
     George Rollins, son of Joseph Rollins, was born on 25 November 1785 at Rochester, New Hampshire.2

     George, at age 38, son of Joseph Rollins, married Phebe Brown, daughter of Nathan P. Brown, on 24 June 1824 at Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine.3

     George Rollins died on 13 January 1873 at age 87.4 and was buried at Rollins Cemetery, Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine.4

     George and Phebe appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 6 June 1860. He was working as a shingle maker. His real estate valued at $200.00 and personal property $100.00. Their children, Amos, Benj, George Wellington, Nathan, Adelia and Anthony were listed as living with them.6

     George appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 14 July 1870. Unknown GEDCOM info: 14 JUL 1870 George indicated his farm was valued at $200.00 at this time.7
