     Velzora K. Scribner, daughter of Mathias Scribner Jr. and Olive D. Trim, was born circa 28 August 1861 at Charleston, Penobscot, Maine.3,4

     Velzora, daughter of Mathias Scribner Jr. and Olive D. Trim, married Fred A. Smith at age 21, son of Benjamin Smith and Elsie O. Duren, on 25 November 1877 at Charleston, Penobscot, Maine, by James J. Horne, Minister of the Gospel.5

     Velzora died on 8 January 1892 Her cause of death was pulmonary comsumption6,4 and was buried at Puddledock Cemetery, Charleston, Penobscot, Maine.7
