Eleanor Rollins, 2nd. wife of Jeremiah Cross
     Eleanor Rollins, daughter of George Rollins and Phebe Brown, was born circa 1827 at Maine.1

     Eleanor and Jeremiah Cross filed a marriage intention on 22 October 1855.2,3

     Eleanor, daughter of George Rollins and Phebe Brown, married Jeremiah Cross, son of Moses Cross and Sarah Sands, on 27 October 1855 at Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, by RRobert Richards, Minister of the Gospel.4,5

     Eleanor died on 30 August 1901 at Piscataquis, Maine,6 and was buried at Sebec Corner Cemetery, Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine.7

     Eleanor appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, in the household of her parents, George and Phebe.8

     Eleanor and Jeremiah appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 9 June 1860. He listed his occupation as a farmer with the real estate value of $500.00 and personal property of $200.00. Their children, Moses S. and Fred A. and his children John Currier and Ella Etta were listed as living with them.9

     Eleanor and Jeremiah appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 6 July 1870. He was a farmer with a real estate value of $700.00, and personal property valued at $300.00. Their children, Moses S., Fred A., Sarah J. and Mary Emma were listed as living with them.10

     Eleanor and Jeremiah appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 4 June 1880. Jeremiah listed his occupation as a farmer. Their children, Moses S., Fred A., Sarah J. and Mary Emma were listed as living with them.11

     Eleanor Rollins appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine in the household of her son, Fred. She was listed as a widow. The census indicated she had six children with three still living.12

George Rollins, husband of Phebe Brown
     George Rollins, son of Joseph Rollins, was born on 25 November 1785 at Rochester, New Hampshire.2

     George, at age 38, son of Joseph Rollins, married Phebe Brown, daughter of Nathan P. Brown, on 24 June 1824 at Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine.3

     George died on 13 January 1873 at age 87,4 and was buried at Rollins Cemetery, Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine.4

     George and Phebe appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 29 July 1850. George, at this time was a farmer. Their children, Amos, Eleanor, Joseph, Benj, Abagail, George Wellington, Adelia, Nathan and Anthony were listed as living with them.5

     George and Phebe appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 6 June 1860. He was working as a shingle maker. His real estate valued at $200.00 and personal property $100.00. Their children, Amos, Benj, George Wellington, Nathan, Adelia and Anthony were listed as living with them.6

     George appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 14 July 1870. George indicated his farm was valued at $200.00 at this time.7
