     Anna married Frederick Carl Wikström on 13 May 1900, at Torsåkers, Västernorrland, Sverige.³

     Anna, and her children, Gerturde, Anna and Nils wereon the sailing ship "Calypso" passenger list on 1 December 1905, departing Göteborg, Sverige. The ships destination was Hull, England. From there, they traveled, most likely by train to Liverpool. Then, with $10.00, boarded the "Lake Erie" and onward to Montreal, Quebec, Canada, arriving, 17 Dec 1905

     Due to a need for men to serve during World War I, the United States instituted a draft. The first registration was for men between the ages of 21 and 31. As a result, this first registration included men born between June 5, 1886 and June 5, 1896. As World War I continued to escalate, the United States instituted a second draft registration. The second registration was for men who had turned 21 since June 5, 1917, so it added men born between June 5, 1896 and June 5, 1897. Two months later, a supplemental registration was held on August 24, 1918 for men who had become 21 years of age since June 5, 1918, adding the names of men who were born between June 5, 1897 and August 24, 1897. With no end in sight for World War I, the United States instituted it's third and final registration. It included all men who were between the ages of 18 and 21, and 31 to 45 years of age. This added younger men than the previous registrations, those who were born between September 12, 1897 and September 12, 1900; and added an older group of men, born between September 12, 1873 and September 12, 1888. Carl filled out a draft card for World War I on 12 September 1917 (at age 34), while living at Butte, Montana. He was employed as miner and described as height, medium and medium build with blue eyes and light hair..² He was naturalized on 10 March 1920 at District Court, Seattle, Washington.³

     The U.S. officially entered World War II on 8 December 1941 following an attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Just about a year before that, in October 1940, President Roosevelt had signed into law the first peacetime selective service draft in U.S. history, due to rising world conflicts. After the U.S. entered WWII a new selective service act required that all men between ages 18 and 65 register for the draft. Between November 1940 and October 1946, over 10 million American men were registered. The Fourth Registration, often referred to as the "old man's registration", was conducted on 27 April 1942 and registered men who born on or between 28 April 1877 and 16 February 1897 - men who were between 45 and 64 years old - and who were not already in the military. Carl filled out a draft card for World War II on 27 April 1942 (at age 59), while living at 241 6th Street, San Francisco, San Francisco, California. He was described as 5' 9', 160 lbs., light complexion, blue eyes, blond hair. He was working as a laborer for Merchants Ice and Cold Storage Company, San Francisco.⁴

     Carl died on 30 November 1950, at San Francisco, California, at age 68.⁵

     Dale Edward Boström, son of David Elmer Boström and Lois Arline Butson, was born on 22 December 1960 at Hennepin, Minnesota.¹

     Dale, at age 25, married Mary Terese Wozniczka on 23 January 1986, at Clark, Nevada.²

     Dale died in September 2019, at Minnesota, at age 58.³

     David Elmer Boström, son of Elmer Robert Boström and Walborg Elfrieda Liljengren, was born on 1 April 1921 at Hennepin, Minnesota.¹

     David married Lois Arline Butson on 6 October 1951, at First Covenant Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Lois Butson, 1809 Fremont avenue S.. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. N. Butson. Estherville. Iowa, was married to David E. Bostrom, 3609 Park avenue, Oct. 6 in the chapel of the First Covenant church. The groom is the son of Mrs. Wallie Bostrom, 4122 Washburn avenue N., and E. R. Bostrom, Wichita, Kan. A reception was held in the Fellowship Hall of the church following the ceremony. Maid of honor was Dorothy Bostrom, sister of the groom. Nancy Flinn, Redwood Falls, Minn., and Harriet Syreen, Crosby, Minn., were bridesmaids. Richard Bostrom, the groom's brother, served as best man. Ushers were Donald Mac Lean and Robert Bostrom, cousin of the groom. After a honeymoon in Canada the couple is at home at 1S09 Fremont avenue S.^2,3

     David died on 12 June 2012, at Zimmerman, Florida, at age 91,⁴ and was buried at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota.⁵
