Capt. Robert Chambers1,2

M, b. 28 July 1758, d. 26 January 1813
     Capt. Robert Chambers was in Military Service He enlisted at eighteen in Capt. James Brurer's company from Monmouth county and fought at Trenton. The Historical Society of Pennsylvania has among its treasures a fifty dollar Continental note which he received as part pay for his services in the army.3
     Capt. Robert Chambers was born on 28 July 1758.2,4

     Robert married Francina Reeder, daughter of John Reeder and Hannah Marchand.1,3

     Robert died on 26 January 1813, at age 54; His remains rest under the northeast corner of the First Presbyterian Church, Trenton, New Jersey as indicated by marble slab in the outside wall.4,2
