     Maria Lott, daughter of John Lott and Aeltje (Altie) Rapalje, was born circa 1760.2
     Maria was baptized in 1762.3 She married Jacobus L. Lefferts on 7 August 1780.
The following notice of the marriage appeared in the N. Y. Mercury of Aug. 14, 1780: 'Last Monday Mr. Jacobus L. Lefferts of this city, merchant, was married to Miss Maria Lott, daughter of the late Mr. Lott, of Long Island ; a young lady of great beauty and merit, with a large fortune.4'


     Maria died on 30 August 1786.3

     Samuel Lott was born circa 16 September 1799.2,3

     Samuel married Ryme Van Dyke, daughter of Albert Nicholas Van Dyke and Jane Wyckoff, on 20 September 1826.1

     Samuel died on 18 September 1837,3 and was buried at Flatlands Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings, New York.3
