     Edwin Olof Larsson, son of Lars Magnus Olsson and Kajsa Jonsdotter, was born on 26 October 1869 at Södra Ås, Östra Ämtervik, Värmland, Sverige.1

     Edwin and Matilda appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Worcester, Worcester, Massachusetts, at North Steele Street, enumerated 12 April 1930. Edwin was working as a patent maker at a wire mill. He owned his home valued at $5000.00. They had a radio set in the home. Their children, Philip Emanuel, Elvira Violet, Edith V. and Alice and grandson, Philip G. were listed as living with them.7

     Edwin and Matilda appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of New York City, New York, New York, enumerated 9 April 1940. Edwin was working as a private chauffeur. He was renting, paying $35.00 a month Their children, Alice were listed as living with them. As an item of interest, a dollar in 1940 would equal $21.35 in the year 2022. A $3.50 gallon of milk in 2022 would have cost $.17 cents in 1940.8
