     Alice was buried at Vallée de Joux, Switzerland. A memorial stone was place at Mountain View Cemetery, Walla Walla, Washington.4

     Alice's obituary read as follows:
Miss Alice H. Berney Memorial services for Miss Alice Helen Berney of Berney Drive, who died Oct 9 in Neuchatel Switzerland where she had been visiting relatives, will be held Monday at 11 a. m. at the Trinty Baptist Church. The Rev. Harlan R. Gerlach of the Trinty Baptist Church and the Rev. Harold F. Jacobsen of the White Temple Baptist Church will officiate. The funeral for Miss Berney was held Oct. 12 in Les Bioux, Vallee de Joux. Interment was in the same cemetery as her grandfather and other relatives.5
