     Anna Louise Napton was born on 31 July 1811 at New Jersey.1,2

     Anna married Matthew Van Dyke, son of Isaac Van Dyke and Unknown "Surname Unknown", on 23 October 1838.1

     Anna died on 28 January 1899, at age 87,1 and was buried at Ridge Park Cemetery, Marshall, Saline, Missouri.3

Census

     Anna and Matthew appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Princeton, Mercer, New Jersey, enumerated 29 July 1850. He was listed as a farmer. There was a Henry Van Dyke, laborer, in the home. Their children, Susan, Jacob, Melinda, Emma Theresa and Georgia were listed as living with them.4

     Anna and Matthew appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Blackwater, Saline, Missouri, enumerated June 1860.. Matthew was a farmer. His real estate valued at $2500.00 and personal property valued at $1000.00. Their children, Susan, Jacob, Melinda, Emma Theresa, Georgia, Florence and William Barclay were listed as living with them.5

     Anna and Matthew appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Blackwater, Saline, Missouri, enumerated 11 June 1870. Matthew was a farmer. His real estate valued at $3400.00 and personal property valued at $1500.00. Their children, Susan, Melinda, Emma Theresa, Georgia, Florence and William Barclay were listed as living with them.6

     Anna and Matthew appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Blackwater, Saline, Missouri, enumerated 16 June 1880. He was listed as a farmer. Burdened, at the time of the census, with 'Diarrhea'.. Their children, Melinda, Florence and William Barclay were listed as living with them.7
