     Hortense Marie Cecelia Palmer, daughter of Christine C. Lindberg, was born on 31 October 1898 at Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota.1

     Hortense married Victor Alfred Boström, son of Olof Alfred Magnusson Boström and Anna Kajsa Fjellberg, circa 1922.2

     Hortense died on 25 September 1976, at Hennepin, Minnesota, at age 77,3 and was buried at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota.4

He owned his home, valued at $5000.00. and had a radio set. They also had a lodger, Bersvend Johnson, age 82, from Norway, living with them. Their son, Robert William was listed as living with them.5

     Hortense and Victor appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota, at 3609 Park Avenue, enumerated 6 April 1940. Victor was working as a manager at a men's shoe store. He owned his home, valued at $5000.00. Their children, Robert William were listed as living with them. As an item of interest, a dollar in 1940 would equal $21.35 in the year 2022. A $3.50 gallon of milk in 2022 would have cost $.17 cents in 1940.6
