Nicholas Van Dyke Suydam, son of Daniel and Jane Suydam
     Nicholas Van Dyke Suydam, son of Daniel Lott Suydam and Jane Wyckoff Van Dyke, was born on 28 December 1866.3
     Nicholas was baptized on 3 May 1867.3

     As part of a list of heirs and next of kin, Nicholas Van Dyke Suydam, petitioner, residing at Mill Lane near East 56th Street, Flatlands, Brooklyn, New York, was listed as part of the "Notice of Petition for Letters of Administration", probate of the estate of Jane Wyckoff Van Dyke on 15 March 1912.4

     Nicholas died on 3 February 1936, at Kings, New York, at age 69,5,6 and was buried at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings, New York.5

     Nicholas appeared on the 1910 Federal Census in Brooklyn, Kings, New York in the household of his parents, Daniel and Jane. He was a pressman for a New York paper.10

     Nicholas Van Dyke Suydam, age 52, appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Rosedale, Queens, New York in the household of his first cousin, Samuel and Florence.11

     Nicholas appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Brooklyn, Kings, New York, enumerated 24 April 1930. Nicholas was a lodger, working as a printer.12
