     Sarah, married Arthur Harris at age 28, son of Alfred Harris and Rebecca MacDonald, on 15 March 1909 According to the 1910 census, it appears Arthur married a Sarah (Sullivan) Ramsdell. She had three children: Helen, age 10; Estella, age 8; and Pauline age 6. Her previous husband's name was James, married May 31, 1898.5

     Martha died at age 80, on 15 July 1949, at Mercy Hospital, Sacramento, Sacramento, California,2,3 and was buried at Rocklin Cemetery, Rocklin, Placer, California.2

Martha Jane Lovejoy Rites Are Held Here

Funeral services for Martha Jane Lovejoy, 80, lifelong resident of California, were conducted yesterday afternoon in the chapel of the Broyer Mortuary. Burial was in Rocklin district cemetery. Mrs. Lovejoy, a native of Ione, had resided in Loomis for the past 34 years. She died July 15 in Mercy Hospital, Sacramento. She was the widow of the late Fred F. Lovejoy. Mrs. Lovejoy leaves one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Hudgins of Sacramento; three sons, Andrew J. Courtland; Chester C. of Fresno and Warren G. of Roseville. She also leaves six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.2
