     Elsie Buck Blood, daughter of Jonas Blood and Eliza Rideout, was born on 22 February 1822 at Bucksport, Hancock, Maine.2

     Elsie, at age 15, daughter of Jonas Blood and Eliza Rideout, married William Gordon Burrill at age 25, son of Asa Burrill and Priscilla Washburn, on 1 October 1837, at Dedham, Hancock, Maine.4

Obituary

INJURIES FATAL TO EAST HOLDEN RAILROAD MAN

George W. Blood, 67, of East Holden who had been in the hospital sinoe be was injured when the motor section car on which he was riding was struck by an automobile on the East Holden grade crossing died Monday forenoon. He was foreman of the East Holden section and had been in Maine Central service for 35 years. Beside his wife, Mr. Blood leaves two sons and three daughters, Walter Blood of East Holden, Lawrence Blood of Bangor, Mrs. Manly Sweet, Mrs. Harvey Beerman and Miss Ruth Blood of East Holden. He is also survived by two sisters, and one brother, Mrs. Wm Clare and Mrs. George Moore of Dedham, Milton Blood of Bangor. The funeral will be held at his late home in East Holden Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock.11
