     Louise H. Emerson, daughter of Jonathan Emerson and Hannah Lowell, was born on 16 November 1845 at Hampden, Penobscot, Maine.5,6

     Louise, daughter of Jonathan Emerson and Hannah Lowell, married Capt. Elisha D. Whitney, son of Charles Whitney 2nd and Sophia L. Miller, circa 19 October 1867.7,8,9

     Louise H. Emerson died on 5 May 1919 at Maine at age 73. Her cause of death was listed as influenza and general debility. She died intestate1,10 and was buried at Locust Grove Cemetery, Hampden, Penobscot, Maine.11

     Mary Shorey Emerson, daughter of Eusebias Emerson, was born on 2 December 1800 at Indian River, Washington, Maine.2

     Mary and Ephraim Schoppe filed a marriage intention on 13 October 1823 at Jonesboro, Washington, Maine.3

     Mary, at age 34, daughter of Eusebias Emerson, married Joseph Warren Chase Schoppe at age 30, son of Anthony Schoppe and Phebe Spear, on 28 December 1834 at Jonesboro, Washington, Maine, After the passing of Ephraim, Mary married his brother, Joseph.4

     Mary died at age 77, on 4 December 1877, at Jonesboro, Washington, Maine,1 and was buried at Roque Bluffs Cemetery, Roque Bluffs, Washington, Maine.1
