     Charles R. Bradford, son of Herbert Winfred Bradford and Alice E. Kimball, was born on 18 May 1917 at Enfield, Maine.2

     Charles, at age 28, married Virginia Weston, daughter of Caleb H. Weston and Marie P. Ouilette, on 31 August 1945.1

     Charles R. Bradford died at age 94, on 28 July 2011, at Dover Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine.3,4

     Charles R. Bradford appeared on the 1920 Federal Census, enumerated 12 January 1920, the household of his parents, Herbert and Alice of Lincoln, Penobscot, Maine. On this census, they used Charles other given name, Reginald.5

     Charles R. Bradford appeared on the 1930 Federal Census, enumerated 5 April 1930, of Lincoln, Penobscot, Maine in the household of his parents, Herbert and Alice.6

     Charles R. Bradford appeared on the 1940 Federal Census, enumerated 10 April 1940, of Lincoln, Penobscot, Maine in the household of his parents, Herbert and Alice. Charles was working as a general laborer.7

read as follows: DOVER-FOXCROFT - Charles R. Bradford, 94, husband of the late Virginia (Weston) Bradford, died July 28, 2011, at a local hospital. He was born May 18, 1917, in Enfield, son of Herbert W. and Alice (Kimball) Bradford. Charlie began working at Stowell-McGregor in 1936, and was manager at the time of its closing in 1964. He retired from Moosehead Manufacturing in 1982. Charlie will be sadly missed by his family and his cronies at Bear's Den. He is survived by two daughters, Margaret Patzner and her husband, Phillip, of Reno, Nev., and Elizabeth Gould and her husband, Timothy, of Lowell, Ark; a son, Robert Bradford and his wife, Wendy, of Guilford; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to call 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bangor Humane Society, 693B Mount Hope Ave, Bangor, ME 04401.
