     Charles E. Black, son of Henry N. Black and Ellen M. Haney, was born on 22 January 1871 at Dedham, Hancock, Maine.1,2

     Charles, at age 26, son of Henry N. Black and Ellen M. Haney, married Louise E. Eldridge, daughter of William L. Eldridge and Anna E. (?), on 15 June 1897.3,4

     Charles died at age 70, on 29 November 1941, at Maine,5 and was buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor, Penobscot, Maine.5

CHARLES E BLACK

Charles E. Black, 70, a former Bangor resident died Saturday in East Orange, N. J. While here, Mr. Black conducted a shoe store for several years later turning to the real estate business. He left Bangor 25 years ago. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edith Packard of East Orange, N.J; two brothers Perley and Arthur Black; and a sister, Mrs. Alice Dearborn all of Bangor. Funeral services will be held at the Clayton Co funeral home, State street, Wednesday at 2 p m.8
