     Israel T. Harris, son of William Harris and Jerusha Newbury, was born in February 1830 at Eastport, Washington, Maine.1,2

     Israel, son of William Harris and Jerusha Newbury, married Margaret Anderson, daughter of Lon Anderson, circa 1851.3,4

     There were four civil war drafts that included 776,000 individuals in that time.
