     Sylvanus Harlow was born on 20 November 1761.1

     Sylvanus Harlow enlisted in the Army, on 4 July 1780, at Pembroke, Massachusetts. His war record included serving with Lieut. Jackson's Company Artillery, General Paterson's Brigade at Camp Totoaway, Oct. 25, 1780, with the Continential Army. He was discharged 08 Jan 1781.2

     Sylvanus, married Katharine Manter circa 1787.3

     Sylvanus died on 1 December 1854 at age 93.1 and was buried at Harlow Cemetery, Plymouth, Penobscot, Maine.1
