     Margaret Wortman was born on 10 June 1761.1

     Margaret, married Philip I. Van Arsdalen, son of Isaac Van Arsdalen and Margaret Strycker, (dau. of Peter Wortman and Sarah Van Nest).1

     Margaret died on 13 March 1848, at age 86,1 and was buried at Bedminster Reformed Church Cemetery, Bedminster, Somerset, New Jersey.2

     Margurite married Fredrik Josef Rawstrom, son of Karl (Charles) Arvid Konstantin Rawstrom and Hilda Kristina Bäcklund, in 1936.1

Census

     Margurite and Fredrik appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Savannah, Chatham, Georgia, enumerated 19 April 1940. Fredrik was paying $25.00 a month rent. He was employed as a civil engineer for a stram railroad. He worked 52 weeks the past year, earning $2320.00 Their children, Fredrick J. were listed as living with them. As an item of interest, a dollar in 1940 would equal $21.35 in the year 2022. A $3.50 gallon of milk in 2022 would have cost $.17 cents in 1940.3
