     Harriet L. Bergen was born on 11 December 1866.2

     Harriet married Lewis Harvey Smith Jr., son of Lewis Harvey Smith and Sarah Maria Van Dyke.1 Harriet L. Bergen witnessed the death of Harriet L. Bergen on 10 January 1921 at Queens, New York,2 and was buried at Flushing Cemetery, Flushing, Queens, New York.2

     Harriet and Lewis appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Queens, Queens, New York, enumerated 6 January 1920. Lewis was listed as retired. Their children, Mabel and Sarah Eldert were listed as living with them.3
