John F. Borgman
     John Folke Borgman, son of Folke Borgman and Ellen Amanda Ahlborg, was born on 12 January 1938 at Providence, Providence, Rhode Island.1

     He was found on the "M/S Gripsholm" passenger list on 5 July 1949, at New York, New York. His destination was Göteborg, Sverige.2 According to a passenger list, John Folke Borgman was listed as a relative traveling with Ellen Amanda Ahlborg on 21 October 1949 at Göteborg, Sverige; They arrived at the Port of New York on 31 Oct 1949.3,4

     John died on 8 March 2007, at Cranston, Providence, Rhode Island, at age 69,5 and was buried at All Saints Cemetery, Warwick, Kent, Rhode Island.1

Obituary

John was 69. He had lived in Cranston, RI. He passed away at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI. He was born in Providence, RI. He was the son of the late Folke and Ellen (Ahlborg) Borgman. He had lived in Cranston, RI most of his life and Milbury MA from 1977 to 1989. John worked for his family at Borgman Cement before going to work at Paul Revere Insurance Co. in Worcester, MA. He was a member of John Baner Lodge #36 Order of VASA. He is survived by his daughter Christine G. Borgman of West Hollywood, CA and Gloria Nilsson, Steven Carlson and Roy Grann. He is remembered by his friends and loved ones as being a wonderful man. He was always there to lend a hand.1
