Maria L. Denton, wife of George Sitzabee
     Mary Louise Denton, daughter of Charles E. Denton and Wilhelmina Behncke, was born in 1876 at New York.1,2

     Mary married George Sitzabee on 16 October 1892, at Flatlands, New York.3,4

     Mary and George were celebrating their "Tin" 10th wedding anniversarry at East 94th St. / Avenue L, Brooklyn, New York. In attendance were many family and friends.5

     Mary died in 1959,3,6 and was buried at Canarsie Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings, New York.6

     Mary and George appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Brooklyn, Kings, New York, at 94th Street, enumerated July 1900. George was listed as an engineer. Their children, Margaret were listed as living with them.9

     Mary and George appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Brooklyn, Kings, New York, at East 94th Street, enumerated 20 April 1910. The census indicates George was an engineer with marine engines. Mary had three children with two living Their children, Margaret and Edith were listed as living with them..10

Mary L. Sitzabee

Mary L. Sitzabee, aged 83, of 969 East 96th St., passed away last Friday. She is survived by daughters Margaret Reisen and Edith Weis, granddaughters Elaine Jasky, Edith Watkins, Grace Cave and Margaret Rees, also 6 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Ideal Chapter No. 373 Order of the Eastern Star whlch held services Monday evening. Religious services were conducted by Rev. William Schwab Monday, at 8 m. Interment in Canarsie Cemetery, was on Tuesday. The deceased reposed in Lapoila Funeral Home. 1480 Rockawav Parkway.11
