Nils Emil Ahlin was born on 14 May 1873 at Böda, Kalmar, Sverige.²

     Nils emigrated on 14 October 1890, from Göteborg, Sverige.³

     Nils married Carolina Boqvist, daughter of Nils Bokvist and Kajsa Svensson, on 7 February 1916, at Everett, Snohomish, Washington.⁴

     Due to a need for men to serve during World War I, the United States instituted a draft. The first registration was for men between the ages of 21 and 31. As a result, this first registration included men born between June 5, 1886 and June 5, 1896. As World War I continued to escalate, the United States instituted a second draft registration. The second registration was for men who had turned 21 since June 5, 1917, so it added men born between June 5, 1896 and June 5, 1897. Two months later, a supplemental registration was held on August 24, 1918 for men who had become 21 years of age since June 5, 1918, adding the names of men who were born between June 5, 1897 and August 24, 1897. With no end in sight for World War I, the United States instituted it's third and final registration. It included all men who were between the ages of 18 and 21, and 31 to 45 years of age. This added younger men than the previous registrations, those who were born between September 12, 1897 and September 12, 1900; and added an older group of men, born between September 12, 1873 and September 12, 1888. Nils filled out a draft card for World War I on 21 September 1918 (at age 45), while living at 361 Garfield Street, Seattle, King, Washington. He was employed as gas engineer and described as height, medium and stout build with blue eyes and black hair. It was noted, 'Only two fingers on right hand'.¹

     Nils died on 8 January 1940, at Seattle, King, Washington, at age 66,⁵ and was buried at Lake View Cemetery, Seattle, King, Washington.⁶

     Bengt Henning Ahlstrand, son of Henning Petrus Ahlstrand and Märta Dagmar Johansson, was born on 15 December 1925 at Falköping stadsförsamling, Skaraborg, Sverige.¹

     Bengt died on 3 October 1987, at Solna, Stockholm, Sverige, at age 61.²

     Henning Petrus Ahlstrand was born on 6 September 1894 at Kumla, Örebro, Sverige.¹

     Henning married Märta Dagmar Johansson, daughter of Isak Otto Johansson and Anna Katrina Larsson, on 10 August 1924, at Engelbrekts, Stockholm, Sverige.¹ Henning Petrus Ahlstrand witnessed the death of Henning Petrus Ahlstrand on 21 December 1979 at Örebro Olai, Örebro, Sverige.²

     Axel Bernhard Ahlström was born on 19 April 1891.¹

     Axel, at age 22, married Elin Teresia Johansson at age 25 on 10 January 1914, at Karlstads landsförsamling, Värmland, Sverige.²
