     Sara Monfoort Name Variation: Sara Pieters Monfoort. Nicholas Claes Wyckoff, Sara's spouse, was born in Berverwyck, Albany, New York. He was about 9 years old when his parents settled in New Amersfoort. He married Sara, baptized on 2 Apr 1656, in 1672. They had 6 children. The records of Flatlands Dutch Reformed Church have an entry of 31 December 1704 -- 'Claes Wyckoff for grave and shroud for wife, 24 Fl (orins).' Max Lubitz: The Wyckoff Families of Old Canarsie Lane -- The Wyckoff House & Assoc. c1998, p. 11.3 She was christened on 2 April 1656 at New Amersfoort, Kings, New York.2

     Sara married Nicholas Clausen Pieterse Wyckoff, son of Pieter Claesen Wyckoff and Grietje Cornelise Van Ness, in 1672, at Flatlands, Kings, New York.1,4

     Her married name was Wyckoff.1,4

     Sara died on 31 December 1704, at Flatlands, Kings, New York, at age 48.2
