     Nils Olson Holmgren was born on 4 July 1859 at Munkerud, Ransäter, Värmland, Sverige.1

     Nils married Emma Karolina Larson, daughter of Lars Magnus Olsson and Kajsa Jonsdotter, on 24 April 1886, at Östra Ämtervik, Värmland, Sverige.2

     Nils emigrated on 17 September 1886, from Göteborg, Sverige.3

     Nils was found on the "Orlando" passenger list on 17 September 1886 departing Göteborg, Sverige, and arriving at Hull, England. Then he traveled overland to Liverpool, England, onward to America.4
