     William Sears Tindall Doing research on William, I have found the spelling of his surname to be either 'Tindall' or 'Tyndall'. The obituaries written for him and his wife Catharine are prime examples.
     William Sears Tindall was born circa 1825 at New Jersey.1

     William married Catharine (Kate) Van Dyke, daughter of Peter Albert Van Dyke and Ruth Hendrickson.2

     William died on 16 June 1886, at Flatlands, Kings, New York,3,4 and was buried at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings, New York.3
