Jaime Van Dyke and Keith Doran were married Oct 8 at St. Dominics Chapel in Oyster Bay. The reception was at the Sagamore Yacht Club in Oyster Bay. She is a legislative assistant to Town of Oyster Bay Councilman Chris Coschignano and is the daughter of Greg and Gayle Van Dyke of Oyster Bay. The groom is an 11th-grade English teacher for Kellenberg Memorial High School and is the son of Peter and Janet Doran of Rockville Centre. The bride earned a bachelors from Hofstra and is pursuing a master's in public administration from Long Island University's C.W. Post campus. The groom earned a bachelors from St Bonaventure University and a master's in education from Hofstra. They live in Hicksville.1,2

     Louise married Fred Gerald Breining on 26 February 1949, at San Francisco, San Francisco, California.3

     Louise died on 20 January 2008, at age 78,4 and was buried at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Colma, San Mateo, California.5

     Louise, with her parents appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Butte, Sutter, California in the household of her Grandmother Mary; Mary's occupation was listed as farmer. Jane Hoke Albertson, Lova's daughter from a previous marriage was also in the home.6

Louise Katherine Breining Resident of San Francisco

Louise Katherine Breining, 78, a longtime Sunset District resident, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008. Louise (Mom/ Grammie) was born on July 11, 1929 in Oakland, CA, to the late Lova and Einer Bouquest. When her family moved to San Francisco she attended Polytechnic High School. Louise married Fred Gerald Breining (deceased) on Feb. 26, 1949 and became a fulltime homemaker for her husband and their subsequent 12 children. She was a devout Catholic, a loyal Democrat, a diehard Giants fan, a 49er faithful, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In an article written by Ken Garcia, the SF Chronicle columnist, Louise and Fred recalled "Raising the kids was the best time of our lives ... And we've had a great life." She is survived by her 12 children: Marie, Kathy, John, Vince, Paul, Fred, Margaret, Francis, Eileen, Mark, Kevin and Helen; their in-laws, 30 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to visit Friday, Jan. 25th from 3-6 p.m. (formal service at 4 p.m.) A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. Both services will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 39th Ave. at Lawton, SF.
