     As of 26 February 1949,her married name was Breining.3

     Louise married Fred Gerald Breining on 26 February 1949, at San Francisco, San Francisco, California.3

     Louise died on 20 January 2008, at age 78,4 and was buried at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Colma, San Mateo, California.5

     Louise, with her parents appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Butte, Sutter, California in the household of her Grandmother Mary; Mary's occupation was listed as farmer. Jane Hoke Albertson, Lova's daughter from a previous marriage was also in the home.6

Louise Katherine Breining Resident of San Francisco

Louise Katherine Breining, 78, a longtime Sunset District resident, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008. Louise (Mom/ Grammie) was born on July 11, 1929 in Oakland, CA, to the late Lova and Einer Bouquest. When her family moved to San Francisco she attended Polytechnic High School. Louise married Fred Gerald Breining (deceased) on Feb. 26, 1949 and became a fulltime homemaker for her husband and their subsequent 12 children. She was a devout Catholic, a loyal Democrat, a diehard Giants fan, a 49er faithful, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In an article written by Ken Garcia, the SF Chronicle columnist, Louise and Fred recalled "Raising the kids was the best time of our lives ... And we've had a great life." She is survived by her 12 children: Marie, Kathy, John, Vince, Paul, Fred, Margaret, Francis, Eileen, Mark, Kevin and Helen; their in-laws, 30 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to visit Friday, Jan. 25th from 3-6 p.m. (formal service at 4 p.m.) A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. Both services will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 39th Ave. at Lawton, SF.      Donald died on 24 August 2009, at Concord, Merrimack, New Hampshire, at age 88,1 and was buried at Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord, Merrimack, New Hampshire.1

Obituary

Donald B. Downs, 88, of Concord died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at Concord Hospital.
Mr. Downs worked for Page Belting for 25 years and also owned a cleaning business for offices and residential properties. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the Pierce Brigade and the Boscawen Historical Society.
He was predeceased by his wife, Anna E. (Peterson) Downs in 1993; and two brothers, Theodore and Clayton.
Survivors include a son, Barton E. and his wife, Cathy, of Belmont; a daughter, Idella and her husband, James Mancini, of Chandler, Ariz; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at Blossom Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association New England Affiliate, 20 Speen St., Framingham, Mass. 01701.
Bennett Funeral Home in Concord was in charge of handling arrangements.1
