     Martha J. Black, daughter of John G. Black and Hannah N. Pinkham, was born on 4 December 1847 at Dedham, Hancock, Maine.1,2

     Martha, at age 23, daughter of John G. Black and Hannah N. Pinkham, married Henry Peakes at age 27 on 4 December 1870 by Rev. James Wells.3,4

     Martha died at age 93, on 28 January 1941,5 and was buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor, Penobscot, Maine.5

     Minnie died on 27 August 1878, at Dedham, Hancock, Maine, at age 8. It is difficult to read, but, looks like cause of death was 'brain fever'..2 She was buried at Union Cemetery, Dedham, Hancock, Maine.3
