     Jan Schenck, son of Roelof Martense Schenck and Neeltje Garetsen Van Couwenhoven, was born on 1 March 1670 at Flatlands, Kings, New York.1

     Jan married Sara Willemse Van Couwenhoven.2

     Jan died on 30 January 1753, at Pleasant Valley, Monmouth, New Jersey, at age 82,1,2 and was buried at Holmdel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Holmdel, Monmouth, New Jersey.2
