     Maria emigrated on 20 September 1904.2

     Maria was found on a passenger list on 23 September 1904.3

     Maria married Arvid Emanuel Engström, son of Lars Johan Engström and Emma Jansdotter, on 24 June 1916.1

     Maria died on 7 October 1952, at Cook, Illinois, at age 63.4

     Maria and Arvid appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook, Illinois, at Potomac Avenue, enumerated 16 January 1920. Arvid was renting, and working as a house carpenter. Their children, Irving Carl Emanuel, brother in law, Otto, sister, Gerda and their two children were listed as living with them His children Emmy Maria were listed as living with them.5

     Maria and Arvid appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook, Illinois, enumerated 16 April 1930. Arvid owned his home, valued at $7000.00. At this time he was working as a building carpenter Their children, Irving Carl Emanuel were listed as living with them.6
