     Harriet F. Voorhees was born on 27 January 1803.2

     Harriet married Jeromus Suydam circa 1826.1

     Her married name was Suydam.1

     Harriet died on 25 January 1868, at age 64,2 and was buried at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings, New York.3

     Harriet and Jeromus appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Flatbush, Kings, New York, enumerated 8 November 1850. Jeromus was working as a farmer. They had a William Fagan, (laborer) from Ireland in the household. Their children, Henry W., Daniel Lott, Mary E., Lemmeh A. and Harriet Rebecca were listed as living with them.4

     Harriet and Jeromus appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Flatbush, Kings, New York, enumerated 14 July 1860.. Jeromus was working as a farmer. They had three others as laborers..5
