MRS. ANNA BERNEY TAKEN BY DEATH

WALLA WALLA, Wash, Oct. 18. -tSpecial.) Mrs. Anna L. Berney, 73. who loved to reminlsce about the days of glory of Kaiser Fredericks court in Berlin, having attended finishing school there when ex-Kaiser J. Wilhelm was a youth, died during the night at the old family home Monday. She was the widow of U. H. Berney, pioneer produce man who died a year ago. Mrs. Berney was born June 25, 1860, in St. Paul, Minn. Five children live here, one, Arthur, at Grandview, and four brothers and sisters survive, including William Rochat of Spokane. She had resided here for more than 40 years.13
