Carel Jansz Van Dyck, son of Jan Thomasse Van Dyke and Unknown "Surname Unknown", was born in 1644 at Netherlands.3
Carel was baptized in 1648 at Amsterdam, Netherlands.4
Carel emigrated in 1652.5
Carel was on assessed (or assessment) rolls of New Utrecht of 1675 and '83; magistrate in 1683 and '84; on Dongan's patent of 1686; and took the oath of allegiance there in 1687. Assessed in New Utrecht in 1706 for 80 acres. From New Utrecht he removed to Shrewsbury, New Jersey, where he died. in 1675.5
Circa 1680, Carel came to America with his father in 1652. He and Lysbeth settled in New Utrecht where he was a magistrate. He removed to Monmouth County, New Jersey, where he died. His Will was recorded in December 1732, in Liber C at page 12 in the office of the Secretary of State at Trenton, N. J.6
Carel married Lysbeth Aards Van der Hard on 27 June 1680, at Flatbush, Kings, New York.1,7,8 Carel Jansz Van Dyck left a will on 1 December 1732 his Will was recorded in December 1732 in Liber C at page 12 in the office of Secetary of State.1,9
Carel died in 1734, at Shrewsbury, New Jersey.1,5
